Emergency Response Update

Jim advised the following discussion points:

• Emergencies happen, and we need to be well-prepared

• We need to let you know what members can expect from NZW in an emergency response

• We need to let you know what our processes are and what resources we have, such as personnel, documentation, and our limited mapping capability

• NZW must prepare and have a certain level of readiness training available to engage with regions. Hopefully, some members will be willing to help, including board members

• We need to let you know how we fit into the bigger picture and how to communicate with the lead agencies
